Free Programs & Lessons
Spelling City
Spelling City offers free accounts with limited access to spelling games and word lists. You can customize your spelling lists and your children can practice their spelling words using a variety of different games and activities. You can upgrade by subscribing to premium, which allows your students to also practice words on the spelling city app and gives them access to many more games. Keeping track of progress is easy with individual logins for all your students.

Art Venture & Art Eye Deer
Art Venture offers a huge selection of drawing and painting lessons for kids ages 5-12. Art Eye Deer lessons are aimed at children ages 10-18. You can get a 48h trial period without having to provide any payment details. If you are in NSW you can use the Creative Kids Voucher to pay for a subscription.
Math Online
Math Online is a program providing video lessons aligned to the Australian curriculum. Each lesson has practice questions, for higher grades you can also print out worksheets. Math Online provides you with a detailed student report incl. topics studied as well as test results and practice outcomes. Great for record keeping! If your child is registered as a home school student with the board of studies you can get a 50% discount.
Mystery Science
Mystery Science offers a huge variety of science lessons for grades K-5. Lesson include videos, stories, opportunities for discussions as well as instructions for hands on activities with easy to access printables. It is our sons favourite program. He is a very hands on learner, loves the outdoors and can’t stand anything looking remotely like “school”. So our Mystery Science Subscription is definitely a winner, worth every cent!
